CONGRATULATIONS & MANY YEARS

On the morning of Saturday 21st November in the chapel of his Eminence Gregorios, Greek Archbishop of Thyateira and Great Britain during the Divine Liturgy (which started at 7.15 am!) our Reader Jonathan was ordained Deacon by our Archbishop Job of Telmessos in the presence of almost all the clergy of our deanery, of his wife, Catalina, and his mother and father.  Priest Edwin was invited to be one of the concelebrants of the Divine Liturgy with Archbishop Job.

This is a great blessing to our parish, for it ensures a stable future.

After the service with great gusto we all sang:  Mnohaja L’ita – the Slavonic version of ‘Many Years’
